Experience cost for Gifts

Each Gift costs (2x the level of Gift) + The number of Gifts that you will have once this has been brought. The level of a Gift is displayed next to the Gifts Name.

You must have 4 gifts of a certain level (of either Breed, Auspice or Tribe) before you can buy Gifts of the next level. No more than one Gift may be purchased per session.

Beast Speech (1)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: None

Skill: None

The Garou may speak to animals, from pigeons in the park to beavers at their dam or fish in the sea. This does not change their basic reactions, a hungry tiger is still hungry and may still attack. Nature Spirits teaches this Gift.

Call of the Wyld (1)

Cost: None      Shot: 2

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou can summon others by howling. Garou far beyond the range of hearing will sense the call and come to aid. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift skill and the result is the range in miles that the howl can be heard (or sensed) over. It also has the further benefit of unnerving servants of the Wyrm, causing -1 to their AV for the rest of the sequence. This effect only works once in any given battle. A Wolf Spirit teaches this Gift.

Mindspeak (1)

Cost: 1 Willpower per participant      Shot: 1 per participant

Skill: Gaia's Gift

Through the creation of waking dreams, the Garou can place any chosen characters into silent communion. The Garou spends one Willpower point per individual being chosen, for unwilling participants he rolls his Gaia's Gift skill with their Willpower as difficulty. Those to be affected must be within sight of the User of the Gift, at least initially. All those affected can interact normally through the Mindspeak, their real bodies can act normally, but at a -1 to AV due distractions. Others can be added to the Mindspeak as and when the user wishes. This Gift lasts until all the participants wish it to end, or at the end of the session, or a participant fails a Death Check (which causes all others to be stunned for 6 shots). A Chimerling teaches this Gift.

Call of the Wyrm (2)

Cost: None      Shot: 2

Skill: Gaia's Gift

This Dangerous Gift actually attracts creatures of the Wyrm. This Gift is usually used to create an ambush or flush prey from hiding. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift skill with the Wyrm's Boon skill of his target, if the Wyrm creature looses the contest he comes to the caller. Any spirit servant of Gaia teaches this Gift.

The Garou can make annoying yips and howls to divert the attention of the target. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against the Willpower of the target and the Outcome is deducted from the targets AV for his next action. A Coyote Spirit teaches this Gift.

Dreamspeak (2)

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou enters another's dream and can alter the course of that dream. The Garou need not be anywhere near that individual, but must know or have seen the individual. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift roll against a difficulty of the targets Willpower to enter his dream. If the Dreamspeaker is still within the dream when the target wakes, the Garou is thrown from the dream world and looses a Gnosis Point. A Chimerling teaches this Gift.

Eye of the Cobra (3)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 3

Skill: Gaia's Gift

With but a look, the Garou can attract anyone to his side. The Garou makes a Gaia's Gift against the AV of his target; the Outcome is the number of shots that the target switches sides for. A Snake Spirit teaches this Gift.

Song of the Siren (3)

Skill: Gaia's Gift and Info/Singing

The Garou can enchant others with his singing. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against the Willpower of the target. The Outcome designates the number of sequences that the target is mesmerised. The Galliard must continue to sing uninterrupted, and must have the Info/Singing skill at a rating of 12 at least. The spell is broken if the target is at all harmed, although he will not dodge, and of course must be able to hear the singing. A Swan Spirit teaches this Gift.

Song of Rage (3)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 4

Skill: Gaia's Gift

This Gift unleashes the beast within others, causing Garou to transform into Crinos form, vampires to frenzy, and humans to berserk. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against the Willpower of his opponents. The Outcome is the number of sequences that they are affected, during this time they will not dodge, and will not use weapons, relying on teeth and claw. A Wolverine Spirit teaches this Gift.

Bridge Walker (4)

Cost: 2 Gnosis      Shot: 1

Skill: None

The Galliard has the ability to create minor Moon Bridges, through which he alone can travel. The Garou travels these bridges in one percent of the time it would take to travel that distance normally, allowing to disappear from in front of a foe and appear behind them instantly. In combat, this allows the Garou to totally negate an attack, and to add +1 to his AV on his next attack. Out of combat, the Garou Can travel as many miles as his Gnosis stat. This Gift is taught by a Lune.

Shadows by the Fire Light (4)

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou is able to create interactive stories in which others take part. The story must be at least an hour long and the Storyteller rolls his Gaia's Gift against the Willpower of the actors, if successful they all gain +1 on their AV's for the next 24 hours. The player should come up with a story that all the players can play out. A nasty GM could make an entire session out of this. An Ancestor Spirit teaches this Gift.

Fabric of the Mind (5)

Cost: 1 Gnosis (initially, see below)      Shot: lots

Skill: Gaia's Gift

Garou with this Gift can bring their imaginations to life, creating a Dream Being with from the fabric of their thoughts. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against the Gauntlet of the area and the Outcome is the number of points that the Galliard has to spend on the being. The expenditure of the points is detailed below:

Stats:  Main stats cost 3 points per point, sub-stats cost 1 point per point, all categories have to be filled. WP's are Body X 5

Skills: brought on a point for point basis, all skills start at zero.

Powers: Creature Shticks are 2 points per Schtick, Gun Shticks are 4 per Shtick, Fu powers are 2 points per Shtick, but the paths have to be followed. Gifts are 2X the level of the Gift.

Furthermore it costs 1 gnosis point to maintain a Dream Being per session, with another being expended per Sequence of combat. A Chimerling teaches this Gift.

Head Games (5)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 6

Skill: Gaia's Gift

Other Garou always accuse Galliard's of being manipulative and playing with their emotions, but those Garou who have the Gift of Head Games can do it like nobody else. The Galliard can change and control the emotions of those whom he speaks. He can cause someone to fall in love with, or befriend him (although this will not last longer than a session, but it is a basis for a real friendship or feelings to develop). The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift skill against the targets Willpower, the higher the Outcome the quicker the feelings will change or develop. The GM should decide the rate of this on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the targets original feelings for the Galliard. A Coyote Spirit teaches this Gift.
