Experience cost for Gifts

Each Gift costs (2x the level of Gift) + The number of Gifts that you will have once this has been brought. The level of a Gift is displayed next to the Gifts Name.

You must have 4 gifts of a certain level (of either Breed, Auspice or Tribe) before you can buy Gifts of the next level. No more than one Gift may be purchased per session.

Persuasion (1)

The Garou can use the Spy Unique Schtick, once per session. An Ancestor spirit teaches this Gift.

Smell of Man (1)

Skill: None

All natural non-domestic animals are at -1 impairment when within twenty feet of the Garou. An Ancestor spirit teaches this Gift.

Jam Technology (2)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 1

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou can cause technological devices to cease functioning, albeit temporarily. The Garou makes a Gaia's Gift roll (Target number 12) and spends a Gnosis point. Each success above this roll equals the number of sequences that the device ceases to function. The device is otherwise unharmed. This Gift is taught by a Gremlin, a type of Wyld spirit that enjoys breaking things.

Skill: Intimidation

By staring into the eyes of a human or animal, the Garou can make them flee in terror. The Garou gains an Intimidation skill of 15, or his present Intimidation skill is increased by one, if it is already 15 or higher. This does not work on Garou, but they may not attack while this is in effect. This gift is taught by a Ram or Snake Spirit. This can be maintained.

Tongues (3)

Skill: Gaia's Gift

This Gift allows a Garou to permanently learn to read and write any language that he is exposed too, even an obscure or long forgotten tongue. Spend a Gnosis point and make a Gaia's Gift roll (Target 10) to use successfully. An Ancestor spirit teaches this Gift.

Disquiet (3)

Cost: I Gnosis      Shot: 3

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou causes the subject to feel withdrawn and depressed. This is a 3 shot attack, using Gaia's Gift against the Dodge (Passive or Active) of the target. If successful the target will be unable to use his Rage points for that sequence. An Ancestor spirit teaches this Gift.

Reshape object (3)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 6

Skill: None

The Garou can shape any once-living material (not undead) into a variety of objects - thus trees can become shelters, antlers become spears, animal hide becomes armour etc. The object in some way resembles the material it was made from. No die roll is needed, but it does cost 1 Gnosis point. The item lasts until the end of the session. A Weaver Spirit teaches this gift.

Reshape Body (4)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 6

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou can use his shapeshifting to alter his physical stats. The physical stats can be redistributed at the player's wish. This Gift costs 1 Gnosis point and a Gaia's Gift roll with the highest new stat as target number. The effect lasts for a session. A Wyld Spirit teaches this Gift.

Cocoon (4)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 6

Skill: None

The Garou causes a thick opaque epidermis to surround him. The Garou is immune to fire, starvation, gas etc. It costs one Gnosis point to use this gift and spinning the cocoon takes 6 shots. Additional time can be spent in the cocoon at one Gnosis point per day; the Garou can leave at any time and is aware of the temperature or oxygen levels outside. The cocoon acts as Armour 4. This gift is taught by an Insect or Weaver Spirit.

Spirit Ward (4)

Skill: Gaia's Gift

This Gift allows a Garou to protect himself spirits by performing a quick warding rite. The Garou draws an invisible pictogram into the air (1 shot), which scares and unnerves nearby spirits (except the pack totem). The Garou spends a Gnosis point and rolls his Gaia's Gift skill against the spirits dodge. Those that it effects shot costs go up by 2. The effect lasts until the end of the Sequence. An Ancestor spirit teaches this Gift.

Assimilation (5)

Cost: None      Shot: 9

Skill: Gaia's Gift

This Gift allows the Garou to blend smoothly into any culture, no matter how strange or alien the culture is. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift skill against a target number decided by the GM. The Gift will not hide racial differences, but the recipient will know the language and all the social customs. The effect lasts for a number of days equal to the targets Willpower. An Ancestor spirit teaches this Gift.

Part the Veil (5)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 3

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou may immunise any human from the Delirium for an hour. In this way, the human can interact with Garou without deleterious results. However the human will forget much of what he knows if the Delirium is induced in him at a later date. The Garou spends a Gnosis point and rolls his Gaia's Gift against the targets Willpower.
