Experience cost for Gifts

Each Gift costs (2x the level of Gift) + The number of Gifts that you will have once this has been brought. The level of a Gift is displayed next to the Gifts Name.

You must have 4 gifts of a certain level (of either Breed, Auspice or Tribe) before you can buy Gifts of the next level. No more than one Gift may be purchased per session.

Resist Pain (1)

Cost: 1 Willpower      Shot: 1

Skill: None

Through force of will the Garou is able to turn the pain of his wounds into a rage-fuelled advantage. The Garou is able to reverse his modifiers due to wounds; thus a -1 becomes a +1 and a -2 a +2. This advantage lasts for the rest of the Sequence. A Bear Spirit teaches this Gift.

Scent of True Form (1)

Cost: None      Shot: 1

Skill: Gaia's Gift

This Gift allows a Garou to determine what a subject really is. This information is conveyed as an olfactory manner, it is actually a scent of the target's true nature. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift with a difficulty of the corresponding skill of his target, a success means that the target is identified. This Gift automatically identifies Garou, with no roll needed. Any spirit servant of Gaia teaches this Gift.

Truth of Gaia (1)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 0

Skill: Gaia's Gift

Philodox as judges of the Garou, have the ability to sense whether others have spoken the truth or a falsehood. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift skill against the targets Deceit or Journalism skill (or his Mind stat). If successful the Garou knows whether or not the speaker lies. A Falcon-Gafling teaches this Gift.

Call to Duty (2)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 3 (1 shot to give the command)

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou can summon Spirits, if she knows their name, and can give them one command. Only one command is given and the spirit will depart after it is carried out. Spirit names are discovered either through personal acquaintance or the Gift, Name the Spirit. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against the AV of the Spirit that he wishes to call, if successful the Spirit appears before him, Banes are immune to this Gift. An Incarna Spirit teaches this Gift.

King of the Beasts (2)

Cost: None      Shot: 3

Skill: Gaia's Gift

Specific animals, generally the ones with which the Garou regularly associates, follow his commands willingly and unconditionally. They understand him and want to help. The target must be within 100 feet, and the Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift skill against a difficulty determined by his relationship with the animal, detailed below. This power only works on one animal at a time and does not call them to him. A Lion or Falcon teaches this Gift.

Feed and care for

Strength of Purpose (2)

Cost: None      Shot: 1

Skill: Gaia's Gift

Some Garou feel so strongly about their place within the pack, tribe and the world that they can draw upon this resolve in times of great need. The Garou can pull new resolve from his deepest reserves. Once per session, after a (successful, obviously) Death Check, The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against a target number of 13 and the Outcome is the number of dice that can be used as Fortune dice in the rest of that session up to a maximum equal to his Willpower. A Wolf Spirit teaches this Gift.

Weak Arm (3)

Cost: None      Shot: 8

Skill: Gaia's Gift

Philodox are more attuned to others than most Garou, accordingly they can use this perceptiveness against their foes. Merely watching an opponent's fighting style lets the Garou determine his opponent's strengths and weaknesses. The Garou can only use these once against any given foe in a fight, and the benefits are lost the next time they encounter one another. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against the AV of his foe, if successful he gains a +2 to his AV vs. that opponent. He must come up with some perceived weakness in his opponent's style. A snake or Wind Spirit teaches this Gift.

Wisdom of the Ancient Ways (3)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: lots

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou has an innate connection with his ancestors, accessible through intense meditation. The Garou must meditate for a short time and then roll his Gaia's Gift against the Gauntlet of the area in which he is meditating. If successful he can remember ancient facts and lore. A Garou Ancestor Spirit teaches this Gift.

Roll Over (4)

Cost: None      Shot: None

Skill: None

The Garou has such a commanding presence that those encountered readily submit to him, her will is such that it can force humans to their knees and wolves to roll onto their backs etc. The Garou gains an immediate +3 to his Intimidation skill. This Gift is taught by a Lion or Wolf Spirit.

Scent of Beyond (4)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 3

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou can bring all of his senses to bear on a site with which he is familiar (even an Umbral site), no matter how far away he is. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift skill with the difficulty being the Gauntlet of the area in which he is at present, he is blind to his whereabouts. A Bird Spirit teaches this Gift.

Take the True Form (4)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 4

Skill: Gaia's Gift

This Gift allows a Garou to force a shapeshifter to assume her true form. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against the corresponding skill of the target, if successful the target reverts to its natural form. The Outcome is the number of sequences that it cannot change form. A Spirit servant of the Weaver teaches this Gift.

Geas (5)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 6

Skill: Gaia's Gift

A Geas causes others to do a Garou's bidding, though the Geas layer can't make the targets act contrary to their basic instincts. Thus, he could send a group on a quest, but could not make its members attack and try to kill each other, unless they were already psychotics. The Garou roll's his Gaia's Gift with the targets Willpower as a target number, in the case of a group, the difficulty is the highest Willpower amongst its members. An Incarna avatar teaches this Gift.

Wall of Granite (5)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 2

Skill: None

Philodox have a stronger link with Elementals of the Earth than do other Garou, for just as the earth upholds those upon it, the Philodox upholds their peoples' ways. While in contact with earth or rock, the Garou can invoke a wall to protect himself, this will move with him and protect him from all angles, it lasts for the rest of the sequence and the Garou counts as if he was 90% in cover (-6 to hit). This Gift is taught by Earth Elementals.
