Experience cost for Gifts

Each Gift costs (2x the level of Gift) + The number of Gifts that you will have once this has been brought. The level of a Gift is displayed next to the Gifts Name.

You must have 4 gifts of a certain level (of either Breed, Auspice or Tribe) before you can buy Gifts of the next level. No more than one Gift may be purchased per session.

Mother's Touch (1)

Cost: None      Shot: 5

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou is able to heal the wounds of others, aggravated or otherwise, simply by laying hands over the afflicted area. The Garou cannot heal himself with this Gift. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift and the Outcome is the amount of damaged healed. A Unicorn Spirit teaches this Gift.

Sense Wyrm (1)

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou can sense manifestations of the Wyrm in the nearby area. This Gift involves a mystical sixth sense, not sight nor smell; although the Garou is likely to say, "This place stinks of the Wyrm". The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against a target number of (20 - the tainted one's, Wyrm's Boon). Then he detects the stench of the Wyrm on the target. This Gift is taught by any of Gaia's spirits.

With This Gift can communicate with spirits of all kinds, this doesn't mean that they will want to talk to him or in the case of Banes, make any sense. Any Spirit can teach this Gift.

Command Spirit (2)

Cost: 1 Willpower      Shot: 3

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou can order encountered spirits, giving them simple commands and expecting their compliance. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift over the Spirits Willpower. If successful the spirit follows the command, if the Spirit is ordered to attack then the effect only lasts for one Sequence. Successive commands require more Willpower points and rolls. Banes are immune to this Gift. Any Incarna Avatar can teach this Gift.

Name the Spirit (2)

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou is able to learn the name and approximate abilities of any Spirit encountered. The Name can be useful for summoning at a later date. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift over the Spirits Av. If successful he learns the Spirits name and can ask three specific questions about the Spirits abilities and powers. The Uktena Totem teaches this Gift.

Sight From Beyond (2)

When danger stalks the Garou or monstrous events are in the offing, visions begin striking the Garou without warning. Her dreams are haunted by the visions of the Vampire Elder stalking her tribe; he begins to see symbols of the Wyrm wherever he looks; the sky itself opens up and shows him images of the glorious battles to come. The use of this Gift is probably best handled as a plot device. A Crow Spirit teaches this Gift.

Exorcism (3)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 9

Skill: Gaia's Gift

This is the Gift for ejecting Spirits from places or objects, whether they are there voluntarily or bound to it. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift with a target number of the Spirits AV (or the Sorcery AV of the magician that bound it). if successful then the spirit is evicted, of course the Spirit may not be grateful.

Pulse of the Invisible (3)

Skill: Gaia's Gift

Spirits fill the world around the Garou, and none knows better than the Theurge. Garou with this Gift are constantly aware of all the Spirits around them and can interact with them at will. While most of what happens is barely worth noticing, the Garou will be aware of any dramatic changes. If the Garou's Gaia's Gift skill exceeds the areas Gauntlet, then the Garou is able to peek into the Umbra at no cost. Any Spirit teaches this Gift.

Grasp the Beyond (4)

Cost: 1 Willpower (sometimes)      Shot: None

Skill: None

The Garou may take things to and from the Umbra without having to Dedicate them (see Rite of Talisman Dedication, sometime later). This includes humans, both willing and unwilling. The Garou just needs to grasp the object and then step sideways, to take an object human sized or larger costs at least 1 Willpower Point. Any Incarna Spirit teaches this Gift.

Spirit Drain (4)

Cost: None      Shot: 3

Skill: Gaia's Gift

This is a blast variant that only harms those beings that can be designated as Spirits. It appears as a whirling vortex that literally tears at its target's substance away. The Garou hits using his Gaia's Gift skill, the base damage is 15. A servant of the Uktena Totem teaches this Gift.

Ultimate Argument of Logic (4)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 5

Skill: Gaia's Gift

Those who speak with the Garou are convinced of some fact that they might otherwise have disbelieved, This belief can be as ridiculous as the Garou wishes. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against the targets Willpower, trying to get an Outcome of 3 or more to be successful. The effect lasts for an hour or until the end of the session, whichever comes first. A Coyote Spirit teaches this Gift.

Shadowplay (5)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 3

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou can animate his own shadow and get it to perform actions. The shadow is an exact duplicate of the Garou in respect of skills and stats, however it only has 5 WP's and cannot spend Willpower, Gnosis, Rage, Chi, For or Ammo points. The Garou must play "shadow puppets" to get it to act, mimicking any action it makes with his hands. No light need be present though. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift roll against the Gauntlet of the area, it has a range of the Outcome in yards, the effect of the Gift lasts until the fight (or whatever) is resolved. A Spirit of Night, or Chimmerling teaches this Gift.

Spirit Vessel (5)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 4

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou can channel a particular spirit and temporarily gain some of its abilities. The abilities depend on the Charms of the spirit that is being channelled. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift skill against The Spirits, Spirit Charm skill, if successful he gains the abilities of the Spirit, with the Outcome, being the number of times that they can be used. If the Garou rolls a way awful failure, then he accidentally channels a Bane. The Bane will completely take over the Garou's body, just as if it had possessed him, and runs rampant; the ramifications of this are up to the GM. A servant of the Uktena Totem teaches this Gift.

Feral Lobotomy (5)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 3

Skill: Gaia's Gift

With but a thought, the Garou can devolve an opponents mind to that of an animal, effectively destroying his intelligence. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift against the AV+5 of his opponent. The Outcome is the number of points by which the victims Mind stat is reduced (but not the sub-stats), this effect is permanent, but can be countered by the expenditure of experience points. A Spirit servant of the Griffin Totem teaches this Gift.

The Malleable Spirit (5)

Cost: 1 Gnosis      Shot: 5

Skill: Gaia's Gift

The Garou can change a Spirit's form or purpose. The Garou rolls his Gaia's Gift skill against the Spirits AV which is increased depending on the change desired, as detailed below. The effect is permanent. A Chimmerling teaches this Gift.
