This game is, quite frankly, astonishing. It combines a superb setting
with a brilliant dice mechanic . A grim and gritty superhero game set during
World War II. Do yourself a favour and at least check this game out at the official
web site, you won't regret it!
Dr Tod:A criminal mastermind of the war
years and a nemesis of Jetboy. If you tire of pitting your PC's against Axis
troops, Dr Tod could serve as a diverting opponent. I have included a very
brief description of the Wealth Background as found in Wild Talents
(190pts)
Jetboy:At the
controls of JB-1, one of the most advanced planes in the world, Jetboy scored
the most confirmed kills during WWII - 500 planes and 50 ships. Jetboy is
relatively low powered and as such is suitable for a Godlike campaign.
(140 pts)
Aces
The Four Aces: The Exotics For Democracy were four Aces who operated
in the late 1940's - early 1950's. The closest thing that Wild Cards
has to a superhero group.
Black Eagle:The first black hero.
Black Eagle can fly, is stronger and tougher than normal and is able to
project a blast of force whilst in the air. (268 pts)
Brain Trust:The only female member
of the Four Aces. She is able to telepathically absorb minds. (358pts)
The Envoy: Envoy can convince anyone
to agree with him, but only for as long as they are in his company. (176pts)
Golden Boy: Superstrong and invulnerable.
Golden Boy is easily one of the strongest people on the planet. (287 pts)
Bentley: Dog- like Joker who acts as
mentor and fixer for Croyd Crenson, (138 pts)
Others
Dr Tachyon:Alien scientist who fought
and killed his kin in a failed attempt to stop the Wild Card virus from being
released. He has dedicated his life to curing Jokers.
Baby:Dr Tachyonssentient
child like spaceship (470pts)
The Sleeper:Croyd Crenson changes his
form and powers everytime he sleeps. Sometimes he is an Ace, other times a
Joker. He lives in fear of either being stuck for ever in a Joker form or
drawing the Black Queen and dying hideously. He fights his sleep cycles with
powerful drugs that often drive him over the edge into psychosis. (Variable)
New Powers
I shall list all the powers that I find myself constructing during both my
Wild Cards and Herolike conversions.
Absorb Skills:The ability
to absorb skills, memories and even the personalities of a subject. Originally
listed with Brain Trust.
New Skills
I shall list all the skills that I find myself constructing during both my
Wild Cards and Herolike conversions
Brain Skills
Planning Capers: This a variation on the
Tactics skill that deals specifically with criminal activities rather
than battlefield manoeuvres.
Command Skills
Crime Network: This skill allows you to
know the right person for the wrong job. They feel no great loyalty towards
you (hence this isn't the Contacts Background) but they will work for
you if paid enough.
Herolike
This is my ongoing project to convert "That Game" over to
the Godlike system rather than the other way around. Comments
will be gadly accepted.
