For a long time I was ambivalent about this game, I had been stung by licensed
games before, rarely did they capture the feel of the show or movie they were
trying to emulate, and too often the writing was dry and unexciting. I was also
of the opinion that the genre of the game could be just as easily played using
the Feng Shui system.
I was wrong.
A couple of weeks ago I sat down in my local RPG shop and actually started
to look at the Buffy RPG. This game models the Buffyverse perfectly. No other
licensed game including (my precious) Feng Shui captures the ambience and spirit
of its source material. This game is just that good.
I suspect that I have become another Unisystem fanboy, so be it, I revel in
my geekness.
Forms and Utilities
Buffy Combat sheet: A PDF I put together
that collects most of the combat rules and maneuvers in one place. Not perfect,
but hopefully of use to someone. By Dave

This page will probably look a whole lot nicer if you have the Buffied
and Morpheus fonts
New Qualities
Slayer Potential: (4 Pts) Similar
to the Slayer in Training quality found in the Slayers
Handbook , but different and interesting enough to warrant attention,
contains minor Series 7 spoilers. Good stuff from Gerry
Saracco
Vampire Hunter:(5 pts) The Slayer
cannot be everywhere and vampires appear to flourish world-wide. Secret brotherhoods
of Vampire Hunters with libaries of ancient vampire lore have existed for
centuries to combat them. Yet more great work from Gerry
Saracco
Werewolf Hunter: (4 pts) Those that
have survived or lost loves ones to a werewolf attack are sometimes recruited
by a society known as The Lodge. They dedicate their lives to hunting down
and destroying werewolves everywhere. Furtastic work from Gerry
Saracco
Woman in Black:(7 pts) They are watching
you, they might come and take you away, they employ invisible teen assassins
and some of them are men. Adam Coleman
should be expecting a knock on his door any day now.
